Mindset Matters
My whole teaching philosophy starts with one question: what feels fun? We build every lesson on a foundation of joy and curiosity, chasing whatever sparks your interest and letting that energy carry you into new skills and confidence. When practice feels like playtime, your brain relaxes into exactly the mindset it needs to grow.
Think of every lesson as a science experiment where "oops" is just part of the data. This is a safe space to try things, get them wrong, and try again without judgment, just curiosity. Some approaches will click for you and some won't, and that's the fun part: together we figure out how you learn best. Even better, you'll walk away knowing how to teach yourself, a skill that pays off way beyond music.
Here's the secret sauce: the kinder you are to yourself while learning, the faster you actually learn. So we keep things light, keep the space safe, and build genuine enjoyment into the process. That's a recipe for success in music, and in everything else too.
